National Work Life Week

It’s certainly been a couple of years that will go down in history, from the very sad passing of Queen Elizabeth II a global pandemic, a war in Europe, a Cost-of-Living-Crisis to name just a few. As we’ve embraced and navigated these major events in our lives, it can be easy to overlook the effects they can have on us both personally and at work. We keep on going without taking the time to stop and understand the effects on our wellbeing. For employers, it is imperative that they take the welfare of their employees seriously to ensure that they have a healthy working environment for everyone.

National Work Life Week 2023 runs from 2nd to 6th October. It is Working Families’ annual campaign to get both employers and employees talking about wellbeing at work and work-life balance. The week represents a fantastic opportunity to not only promote the importance of wellbeing but also encourage open conversations about what employees need to feel good at work.
